Pink, the Color of Spring

A few years ago I posted several blogs focusing on specific colors; blue, green, and red, are a few I focused on. However, I kept putting off sharing photos in pink since it’s not one of my favorite colors. However, spring makes me think of pink with the abundant beautiful cherry and magnolia blossoms found at the moment, so I decided it was time. There are many other plants and flowers in pink just beginning to open up as the weather warms and the sun shines down on the earth, still recovering from a long, cold winter.

Other images that may come to mind when thinking of pink are baby girls, a luscious glass of rosé, flamingos, pink champagne, some foods, and even the sky and clouds can sometimes be pink.

You might think of the musical, Legally Blonde when thinking of pink. We took our daughter to see it when she turned 18, at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle. The percussionist is a friend of mine and when I asked him about it he said “it’s great; very pink.” BTW, it’s a fantastic show, I highly recommend it if you get the opportunity.
