Our travels in 2023 took us to nine countries, including France, which we currently call home. We saw many beautiful and interesting locations; here are the highlights.

We ended the year with a trip home for the holidays where we visited family and friends in Washington, Oregon, and California. It’s been absolutely wonderful being here with our loved ones.
We still have a few more days here in the states before we head back to France next week. We’ll ring in the new year with family and friends in Seattle, then catch a flight to Europe the next day.
It’s been a wonderful year filled with adventures and beautiful places. I hope 2024 brings even more travel and eye opening experiences.

Wow, you can look back on an incredibly beautiful year. It’s hard to single out one country that impressed me – each of them has their own charm. You took the most beautiful photos in Norway and with Portugal you reminded me of our own visit there. Enjoy your last few days in the US and I look forward to travelling to more new places with you in 2024.

We have jet lag after scrolling through your rich tapestry of photos–(9 countries!) All, of course, are beautiful but that one in Madeira almost unreal! Happy New Year to both of you, and have a wonderful trip home.

You’ve had a great travelling year, and no doubt more to come in 2024. Lovely photos. I’ve lived in SW France for 26 years, and it’s so beautiful here with so much to see, that it’s hard to tear ourselves away, sometimes. We did manage Prague last year. Morocco is a place I’d really love to visit. On my bucket list!

France is indeed a beautiful country! We have friends and fellow expats in Nouvelle Aquitaine, which is stunningly gorgeous. We’re lucky to call France home at the moment. Where did you move from? We came from the UK. I’m British, but my husband is Swedish. La vie française suits us both! I can certainly recommend Prague. A beautiful city with masses to see.
