I loved Anthony Bourdain’s shows.

Me too. There was a thoughtfulness behind his gritty exterior, which was always spot on.

There is always a bit of uncertainty in travel, I like that. Some folks try to remove it by over planning, I think a few surprises are a good thing.

There are so many awesome travel quotes, but my favourite ones in recent years are Anthony Bourdain’s travel quotes. That man was a huge travel inspiration. Thanks for sharing, and have a wonderful day 🙂 Aiva xx

I agree; as I mentioned on another comment, Anthony was quite tough and gritty, but he had such a thoughtfulness too. Thanks Aiva, and have a great day!

A hundred times YES! It’s the most fun about travelling … not always knowing what to expect!

Well I didn’t mean to comment at the tail end of another comment/reply. I can’t seem to delete it 😊 Anyway, great quote!

I knew I recognized that pic! Was just there a year ago and I was just rereading my journal entries about it to fill in my new listography journal. 🙂

Thanks Hannah! Death Valley truly is a beautiful place, although the name doesn’t reflect that.

The unknown is what makes travel alluring. With no itinerary, we just hopped on a long haul train this winter and we were blown away: https://wp.me/pfqfCZ-S
