This is so apropos for all travel, but it’s especially meaningful for me this morning. We just got back from Charleston, SC, about 12 hours ago, and what an education that was. So much history.

People can give so many different reasons about why they travel (usually very valid reasons), but I think I like Freya Stark’s reason the most. Lovely photo.
