  1. it is a good quote and applies to so many places–but in my personal experience in a few of the odder spots in the world we have lived, I’d remove “childlike” and just say ‘wonder….😳

  2. The feeling of being in a country where you don’t understand the language or customs, where everything is new and unfamiliar, can indeed evoke a sense of childlike wonder and curiosity.   3. Am smiling – I am such a practical creature who has had to travel around the world at fast speeds on business much of the past . . . methinks the needed ‘practicalities’ hit me ere ‘wonderment’ 🙂 !
