I totally agree. Some of our most special memories are the kind and interesting people we have met during our travels.

I’m in the minority when I say I was never an Anthony Bourdain fan, but I don’t agree with this quote. 😊 Maggie

That’s a beautiful quote and a photo, dear Tricia. I have always loved and been drawn to the dramatic and scenic coastline with the iconic Haystack Rock. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

I agree, Aiva with the quote and thanks so much for your kind words about my photo. Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock, along with the other sea stacks in the area are stunning. Have you been to Oregon?

That’s such a gorgeous beach and it looks like you can walk it for quite a distance. And yes, Anthony Bourdain’s observation is very true. The unplanned, out-of-the way experiences are the ones that mean the most.

Oregon has some stunning beaches, and yes, one can walk for miles along them and enjoy so many special discoveries. I agree with you about Bourdain, he was rough and tumble, but thoughtful and poignant too. Thanks, Lynette!
