Oh, I love a boardwalk! And regarding your quote … that’s why we bought a car that can’t go fast ๐.

I do too; theyโre so inviting. Going slow is good, it allows time to stop and smell the roses!

I love this picture! We visited Capital Reef a few years ago and we spent an hour as my daughter ran back and forth along this boardwalk thinking it was the greatest thrill of her young life ๐

Thatโs a sweet memory; children find amusement in the best places. Thanks for sharing. I had a feeling you might enjoy the photo. ๐ I hope you have a great weekend!

Yes! I knew it was Capitol Reef before I saw the caption (sorry – a little bragging there). That travel quote is perfect for that picture for us. We drive as fast as we can to get out there (because it’s so boring from Minnesota to Denver), then slow down when the good stuff starts. ๐

I love that you recognized the place and have been there too! I lived in Iowa for a while, so I can relate to getting quickly out of a place. Thanks for your comment!

These words are why I have often thought travel by car and train are the very best…
