Travel Quote

I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move; to feel the needs and hitches of our life more nearly; to come down off this feather-bed of civilization, and to find the globe granite underfoot and strewn with cutting flint. Robert Louis Stevenson

  1. I love Robert Louis Stevenson and his quotes regarding travel. On my last trip to Edinburgh, I went to the Writer’s Museum and was delighted to learn a bit more about the fascinated writer. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

  2. Your photo is gorgeous. And I really do enjoy your weekly quote sharing, but this one is pretty heavy….My only problem is that at this moment civilization does not feel like a feather-bed; more like a really well used mattress that I would like to exchange……
