I think we all have that one place that makes us slow down. Maybe because I have lived here for the last thirty years I have become complacent. I am writing an article about Hepple as we speak. A beautiful place in Northumberland that I visit every time I go there. It always slows me down to the point of parking the car, and just taking eveything in. It’s a beautiful landscape.

It’s good to have some places where we can slow down and contemplate. Thanks Ian.

Slowing down is a very good thing. We’ve certainly managed to speed ourselves up and then we talk ourselves into believing that’s normal. Beautiful capture of the flamingo. 😊

We certainly lead a much slower pace of life in France for various reasons. However, when I was working full time I wouldn’t have said it was slower then!

We always enjoy watching flamingos, Tricia. There’s lots of opportunity for that here.

And to sit and watch such a beautiful flamingo will definitely slow you down.

They are so beautiful and graceful; but they are really noisy and a little smelly too. 🤭 Thanks Corna!

What an elegant creature. But I must say, her knees look like mine feel. 🙂
