Oh, my word! Too beautiful to eat? I’m sure it wasn’t.

Almost; but not quite. 😉 Thanks Jo!

Ah but this is French food, so we value taste above everything. Food is love. Food is elegance. And those words, calories, cholestorol, and arterial plaque, such a lack of elegance!

I am French-Canadian and understand. We don’t season with regret, either! Such delicious pictures!

Good to know! We must spend more time in Canada when we return to North America. Thanks Lynette!

Lots of good food (and beautiful cities) in Québec. 😊

Food that is almost too beautiful to eat – like Jo said! If we ever go to France, I’m just going to eat for a week … and only after that I will go and explore the beautiful city!

A dish can only be as good as its ingredients, something the French know all about. After multiple visits to various parts of France, I have fallen in love with their dishes that have been made with fresh, in-season ingredients. Thanks for sharing, and have a wonderful day 🙂 Aiva xx

Amen to that! (Although I do think cigarettes, and not just moderation, play a big part in Parisians’ slender waistlines.)

Another brilliant quote! I would also add that the French don’t snack as much as other nations, in my experience.

Exactly; snacking is considered quite odd here. Thanks for stopping by!
