I’ve heard that quote before and love it! Whenever I visit I do my best to try at as many as I can! I love those photos! 😊

How indeed? Where to start, Tricia! At the front, and work backwards….?

Good question Jo! They all look so good.

I dare say that Charles de Gaulle thought he was the only one that could (if the history I have read is accurate) but I love his quote.

That is a very good point! Also I could eat my way through every kind of those cheeses quite happily 🙂

Cheese . . . one of the two best things about France. Can you guess the other one?

There are so many! Wine, bread, pastries, and all so affordable!

I was thinking of the wine, but I forgot about the pastries. Mais oui! How could I forget?! I think it’s a sign I should go back to France and let the country jog my memory!

You certainly should. We’re going to miss all of these, and the 1€ baguettes.

Yummy cheese! In one of our big stores where we often go shopping, there is a “cheese island” … that’s usually the first place I walk to when we shop there. I think in France, I’ll walk around with a cooler box to pack all the cheese I want to buy.

Ooh, I love the idea of a cheese island. That would be my first stop too. Cheese gets a lot of attention here in France as you can imagine. Thanks Corna!

Such a great quote, but I imagine the number of cheeses available now has grown considerably!

Isn’t it though? And you’re right there; I’m sure there are many more available now!
