I’m taking a break this week from my Paris by the Numbers series to share photos of our 2024 travel destinations. We visited eleven countries, including France, which was our home until October. We saw many beautiful and interesting locations; here are the highlights.

We feel blessed and fortunate to have traveled so extensively and hope to continue to enjoy visiting other countries and cultures in 2025.

What a great year you had, and what a gorgeous collection of pictures! One of the best parts of living in Europe, I’m sure, is being able to travel to 11 countries in one year. We are looking at living in Poland for a year or more beginning next fall, so maybe we can do the same. Happy 2025! Maggie

What a retrospective! And such a gorgeous collection of photos from your travels. Beautiful. I lived in Germany for a couple of years and very much enjoyed the ability to see so much.

Thanks so much, Lynette. Unfortunately, we didn’t see much of Germany. We went to Kaiserslautern to visit family, and didn’t get out much. We’ll just have to return someday.

Gorgeous photographs and a busy year! I’m so envious – living in Europe is a bucket list item for me, but we have animals, so it’s nearly impossible to carve out the time. So glad you got to have this experience. Cheers!!

What an incredible 2024 you had; you certainly took advantage of your stay in France to visit so many countries, as well as some domestic ones (I’m dying to visit Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, especially as it’s near Gorges du Verdon). What a wonderful year you and Terry had! The photos of Croatia and Italy are incredibly beautiful (which of course does not mean that the others are not beautiful). The pink bicycle in Amsterdam remains a favourite 🙂 You were truly blessed to explore so many lovely places. We wish you and Terry a prosperous 2025 … and can’t wait to see what places you will visit this year.
