What a lovely street! Would I like the climate, Tricia?

Isn’t it though? I think not, it was very hot and humid while we were there a few weeks ago; too much for us. Thanks, Jo!

I think that carrying the beauty of the places we see makes for wonderful moments to look back on anytime 🙂

I like your quote, Tricia. And your photo ties in so lovely with that, because such a beautiful scene you have to take (carry) with you. Beautiful photo.

I have always been keen on reading about Emerson and his view on travelling. I have to agree that wherever we go we carry our character with us. So, rather than seek beautiful places, we should learn to find beauty within our character and sculpt our character into something more beautiful. Travel can be done well. It can be done poorly. It is good to travel if you do it to improve your character, or if travelling supports relationships at home which cultivate your character. If we travel because we are sad, disappointed, or frustrated, we will still carry our sad, disappointed, and frustrated selves wherever we go. Thanks for sharing, and have a wonderful day 🙂 Aiva xx

It’s amazing how you are able to see different viewpoints that I have completely missed. That’s an excellent point; thanks so much for sharing. 😊
