That’s such a beautiful scene, Tricia. I agree that it’s not the destination; the journey itself is. 😊

A huge morning smile from Down Under – as quite a few times before > you have taken me to a place I should have been myself. As an Aussie I have naturally been to Tassie but not to the Botanical Gardens, more the arts scene, the wonderful markets and the art galleries . . . absolutely love the photo > must pass it along to local friends with the obvious ??? 🙂 !

Thanks so much, Eha! I think I may have communicated that my husband, theTravelsketcher, traveled to Australia many times on business. I finally tagged along on his last trip there. You have a wonderful country. I absolutely loved it there; I felt so safe, welcomed and completely entertained every step of my journey. I’m so glad you enjoyed the photo and quote; I loved my time in Hobart. It reminded me a bit of Seattle, my hometown.

Thank you so much for the comment back! I have not been with you long enough to know your husband had been Down Under on quite a few occasions before . . . and now, you 🙂 ! That will stop me from making silly extraneous comments ! I have not lived in the PNW but can imagine Tasmania being similar weatherwise. As far as security is concerned – very few problems thankfully . . . and as far as current politics, we have to ‘sit on the fence’ in a way naturally but are somewhat pleased about our geographical position . . . wishing you well . . .

I feel this way a lot. Especially when going through health trouble and I ask my husband “how about a mountain drive through the back roads for me?” Takes the weight off immediately
