That’s a gorgeous capture, Tricia. 😊 I have been very fortunate to do all the travel that I have; it in so many ways has definitely been a luxury.

Beautiful picture and a wonderful quote, dear Tricia. There are so many good things about leaving your hometown. For me, the experience has been marvellous for the most part. I’ve learned so much and met so many different people than I would have by staying in my small hometown. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

I wonder how true that quote is of people in Britain today. People seem to fly abroad on holiday at the drop of a hat these days. Though whether travel broadens their mind is another thing entirely.

That’s a good thought. If traveling takes one to an all inclusive resort where there’s no interaction with the locals, then their minds won’t be broadened. Thanks for sharing!

So true. It’s easy to forget how much of a privilege it is to explore new places, whether it’s across the world or just a short drive away. I’m really grateful for the moments, the views, and the experiences I’ve been able to collect… and even more excited for whatever’s waiting ahead. (Love the photo btw!)

Funny how this line hits a bit deeper than expected. We spend so much time chasing the next place, the next escape… and forget that even one stamped memory is already a privilege.
Hvar looks like one of those places that stays in the bloodstream — blue water, slow air, and that quiet reminder that we’re lucky to witness anything beyond our own street.
Thanks for sharing this moment… it made me pause, in a good way. Where’s your next horizon calling you from?

You’re right Meg, is a beautiful quote, and one that spoke to me too. It must be a treat to see students get excited about the places they’ll go, and the adventure that awaits them. Thanks so much!
