I loved Anthony Bourdain’s shows and writing and miss his wit and insights. He’s totally right, of course. A true experience of Paris means getting away from those big tourist spots. A great choice, Tricia. Cheers.

As did I, Lynette. He had a tender thoughtfulness inside his gruff exterior that was quite poignant. Yes, Paris has so many hidden gems. Thank you!

Anthony Bourdain’s quote is quite spot on, dear Tricia. True magic and surprises in travel happen when we allow for spontaneous exploration, visiting the lesser-known, quieter areas of Paris. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

He certainly was with this quote, and others. Getting away from the tourist hotspots almost always results in seeing the soul of a city. Thanks, Aiva; I hope you have a great day as well.
