Thatās a great picture of Luxembourg City and the quote you chose is certainly true. Any job can definitely become routine.

That’s a very beautiful photo from Luxembourg City, dear Tricia. I love the quote too, as it reminds me why I travel – physical journeys serve as an escape from the numbing repetition of daily life. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day š Aiva xx

Perhaps for some, happiness lies in the search and the entire world is not enough, while others find their peace in stability.

May I join all the others agreeing . . . methinks one travels to actually be where all the inviting photos call us . . . to be part of a photo as you have shown of Luxembourg City to which I have never sadly been . . .

Great photo, but I tend to think of running to rather than away. š Maggie

It’s weird to agree with the quote, but also not. When we walked the Camino in Spain and Portugal, we were in a daily routine of walking, eating, and sleeping (for a whole month) š. But I guess when it’s a work routine that you want to escape from, it’s a whole different story!

I agree; itās the daily routine that can get us down. But for some people thereās comfort in that. When traveling, we fall into a routine, but still see and experience new things daily. Good point, Corna. Thanks for commenting!

A routine can be good sometimes, but you canāt always schedule time for creativity or spontaneity. It doesnāt work like that. And thatās the beauty of travel, is that it can open up possibilities we might never have even imagined!
