Provence, located in southeast France is one of my absolute favorite places in the world. The slight smell of lavender in the air, the quaint hillside villages, the slow pace and the warmth of the sun, make for a perfect vacation destination. Today I’m going to share a few photos taken in Bonnieux, Gordes and Robion.
On one of our trips there we had a picnic at Château Pesquié. We sat by a stream and looked out at the vines and a village in the distance. We set our bottle of wine in the stream to keep it cool as we munched on cheese, bread, fruit and pâté.
I have written many other blog posts about Provence including:
I hope to visit again someday when the EU opens its borders to Americans. Until then, I will enjoy my photos and memories from this beautiful place.
Stay safe and healthy.
That’s beautiful! It looks so peaceful and quiet and such a great place for a bottle of wine!
