There is something about pathways that beckon and call to us to follow them, to discover what’s around the bend, or what lies ahead. As if they are saying; come follow me for a while, and you will be greatly rewarded. And the rewards are great. They are often located in quiet places that encourage stillness, contemplation and can provide a release from the daily grind. For many they provide a natural remedy to anxiety, stress and depression, and are a good way to get some exercise. John Muir said it best: “And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul”.
I hope you enjoyed this short post and it encourages you to find a trail and discover the relaxing benefits of being close to nature.
Wishing you grand adventures,
